Making Notes

There is notebook beside my bed, with a pen always at the ready. I wish I could leave my laptop on and ready to go beside my bed, but that never works out. Sometimes what I’m thinking about as I’m waking up are the most important thoughts of my whole day. So I like to write myself notes about things on my mind. If I write them down it helps me stay organized and motivated.

Lucky Penny

Today I got out of the car and looked down at the pavement and found a shiny new penny. The penny was heads up. I think that the heads up part is important because that brings you good luck. I was told by a kid waiting at his bus stop that if you find a penny with the tails up you should leave it laying there. Tails up supposedly means bad luck and if you pick up that tails up penny then you pick up the bad luck that day, too.

Lucky Numbers

Do you have a lucky number? How do you know its lucky for you?

I used to think that the date of my birthday was a lucky number, but it’s never really done shit for me. I have done really well at the roulette tables playing the numbers 8 and 11. So I’ll claim the two of them as my lucky numbers. What’s yours?

Birthday Boom

For some reason September is a big month for birthdays in my family. I guess since September is the ninth month, that means a whole lot of people were getting laid in December and January all those years ago and they obviously weren’t using rubbers. I don’t even want to think about it.

New Walking Shoes

If you have to be on your feet all day, you must have good shoes. The type of flooring or ground surface is important, too. If you have to stand on the grass in a yard or field you need different shoes than if standing on the sand or standing on the concrete floor of a mall store. Take care of your feet! You can’t walk without ‘em!

My Niece and Her Reviews, Summaries and Writings

My niece has asked me if she could submit some of her summaries of the various anime and mangos that she has been getting into lately. I’ve tried to encourage her to start her own blog, but she just doesn’t seem interested at this point so I have consented to her sending me her summaries and I’d post them for the world to see here in my playground.

So don’t be surprised if you see some of her writings here from time to time and that you will find them enlightening, entertaining and educational as well. She is a good kid and I want to continue to encourage her to write however she may choose to.

Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner Thoughts

My parents are getting up in their years and we have all been trying to think of ways to help them out in any way that we can. With the holidays fast approaching we are concerned about the amount of work that is needed in order to put on the big Thanksgiving dinner and then 4 weeks later having to do it all over again for Christmas. So we are going to approach the folks with the idea of splitting up the holiday dinners so that mom isn’t so over whelmed each year. I don’t know what to expect from her about the issue but it’s worth talking to her about it and soon.

Stay ahead in your industry

Always stay ahead of the curve and what I mean by that is stock and carry products that are new to your industry or market. Mine is currently the adult blu-ray market since it won the format wars between HD. Everyone in the adult industry was going with HD DVDs mainly but now the shift is to blu-ray so having to stock products and start websites around this new keyword are vital to staying ahead of my industry.

The same for any industry eitherÂ your selling what your competition has for the cheaper and your selling what your competition is not and you will have a successful business. And always invest in the future of your business are this is vital to making any business a success. And always go into other business that are in your industry for instance I recently launched a adult chat website and soon will launch a adult video on demand website.
